Helping Hands for Maya

Maya is a 15 year old male orphan with Cerebral Palsy.

He can't walk nor talk. He didn't have proper education.

After his mother gave birth to him, he was left in the hospital. An orphanage in Davao City, Philippines adopted him and took care of him.

During his early years, there was a volunteer physical therapist who gave him free therapies. But sooner, the physical therapist found a job and left.

We are raising money for Maya's Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy since the orphanage can't afford it. The Physical Therapy costs PHP 600.00 per visit, and also the Occupational Therapy.

This will to organize a fundraising campaign for Maya started when we visited the orphanage. My friend celebrated her birthday there, then we met Maya. The workers there told us about Maya. His story touched us which moved us to organize this fundraising campaign.

We believe that Maya still have the chance to improve physically and cognitively.

Rest assured that all donations will be used for Maya's therapy.
