Helping Derrick Recover

My brother Derrick Scales was involved in a serious Motorcycle Accident while has left him paralyzed.  He has serious spinal cord injuries which has left him unable to use his left side or walk. My brother was riding along Aug 3rd,2014, with a friend and suddenly his friend lost control of his bike and my brother swerded to keep from running into his friend and ran into an embankment which caused my brother to run into a tree. He crashed head first which caused his spinal injuries.  He broke his midarm and wrist, he broke his nose and his lungs were punctured.  His injuries were severe. M y brother has undergone two surgeries.  nd there is a possibility that he will have to have a third surgery for his left upper arm.  My brother stayed in ICU for 2 1/2 months not knowing his condition.  When he woke up he did not know where he was.  We are so thankful to GOD that he is still here.  Doctors are hopeful that he will walk again but unsure at this time. My brother injuries has left him and his family broke and we are asking for help from anyone who are willing to help.  My brother was the bread winner in his home.  His family is behind on their mortgage and utililties.  Anything would be a great help.  As a faithful family we are believing and trusting that God will allow him to walk and be 100% himself again.  I how to be honest we have never asked for help.   My family is dealing with this life changing event together.  To tell you all the truth, you never will know what it is like to hurt for a love one until you have gone through it.  I wish to the Lord above that no one ever has to go through a life changing event such as ours, but in real life some people do. And I pray for all that do.  I know that God is real and able to do all things becasue my brother is still here.   I have posted two pics of my brother: 1) where he started and 2) where he is going (he is on that road to recovery).   I know that he will walk again and guide someone else to have a fulfill life. I posted my email below because if you have encouraging words and prayer for my brother that would be great.  I am passing them along.  He need as much encouragement as he can get.  It is hard for him knowing that he cannot do the things he use to do. He has a wonderful spouse who has never left his side and two wonderful sons.
