Helping communities in need in Cusco, Peru.

Hi! I am Carlos King, I am 19 years old and I am Spanish-Canadian. I was born in Belgium and am currently a student at the University of Ottawa. I hope to be able to travel to Peru this summer to volunteer and hopefully help contribute with the development of childcare, healthcare, construction and teaching.
Why do I want to volunteer in Peru? 
In my native country of Belgium, there is a clear distinction between the much better living people involved in services, and those who are a lot less well off. I went to school in Ixelles (an average region), and had best friends from both St Josse (a very poor region) and Uccle (a vey rich region). Through this, I was able to experience first-hand, the enormous disparity there is in wealth in my country, and just how unfair it is. Then I looked at this issue on a global scale, and I realized that this situation is much much worse in most of the world, and I can't stand it. I have been actively volunteering for the past 5 years in my own community, and although there are people in need in my community, I want to go and lend a hand where I believe it is more needed. Peru is the ideal location for me because I am fluent in English and Spanish, and I want to help teach English in some of the more poor areas of Peru.
Why am I the one helping?
Considering myself more priviledged than most, I feel I have the ability, and therefore the responsibility to help those in worse conditions and those in need. I do not want to take what I have for granted. It is my passion and my motivation to help others who were not as lucky as me, and were born into difficult families, in impoverished lives. 
Why do I need your help? 
I plan to volunteer in Peru through the Global Volunteer Network, a non-profit organization that helps with organizing and distributing volunteers and help to the areas that most need it in Peru. Unfortunately for me, the package costs 2000$. I am currently an international student at the University of Ottawa, and so have to pay for my rent, living, food, and my tuition, which is very high for international students. Struggling as I am already, this price of 2000$ is overwhelming and discouraging. I initially didn't want to take money from others, because I don't need it, I saw it as being against the point of my goal. But I just can't stand money being the very thing stopping me from helping others. Hopefully, with any contribution you'd like, you can help me help others, and that way, I like to think of it as many of us more priviledged people, helping many of those in need.
