Helping Betsy

Unfortunately Betsy's cancer has spread and she's going to do everything she can to kick its butt.

So many people in Betsy’s circle of family, friends and support have reached out to her in so many ways. Every little bit of support goes a long way to give Betsy the strength that she needs to carry on this journey, with determination and positivity.

In past weeks it looked as if Betsy would need to raise money for her care and her treatment. When on a path like this it takes a little time to find clarity of direction and need. At this moment with love, care and financial resources within her family she has the money that she needs for this next leg of her journey.

Over the coming weeks and months she will therefore be able to support other people and causes that she considers to be doing important work for people fighting cancer. What a privilege to be able to help out others along her way as well. As Betsy said: “it will just become clear in time who we should support, and at that time I can let you all know via this page and/or my blog who/how people have benefited”.

Please do not stop donating – there are plenty of people fighting Cancer who can really do with that extra help – be it with immunity, psychological and emotional support, alternative treatment plans, juicers…you name it, the list is endless.

A wee word from Betsy herself:

"You guys have no idea how much I appreciate all the love and support that is coming at me from what seems like every corner of the globe. It’s also not just about the money, but it really does feel like with every donation and message that pops up on the screen comes a warm fuzzy injection of light and love that really eggs me on to kick this thing. The words 'Thank you' don't even scratch the surface. It's a crazy ol' journey that I'm on and I’m putting everything I’ve got into this. I’ll try to update you via my blog and the fundraising page when I can as to how the money is being spent. For now, just know how much all the support means to me. I’m a ridiculously lucky girl to have you all of you there helping me out and to be able to share that support more widely too. Sending so much love to you all. Thank you thank you thank you xxx"
