Helping animals that have been abandoned and abused have better lives.

Thousands of animals in Costa Rica suffer from abuse or abandonment. We have recently moved to Costa Rica a year ago. We ourselves have six dogs and five cats. Within the short time we have been here there have been 6 animals that have been left on our land. People who do not want to be responsible for them find it easier just to leave them somewhere else to die. One unfortunately, we were not able to save. the other five we have kept. In our area there is no animal shelter so the only thing to do is to wait for someone who would want to adopt them or take them to be put down. We are a family of animal lovers so taking them to be put down is something we would never do. Due to that is the reason we are asking for help. Taking care of five cats and six dogs is difficult. But now we have found two new dogs that have been left on our land and as more and more animals show up, it becomes almost impossible for us to support them all. The food cost alone is thirty dollars for a big bag and forty for each animal to get neutered. In Costa Rica making money is more difficult. the average person makes 2 dollars an hour. We would really love to create a private foundation to be able to support all the animals in need and that is the reason for our cry for help. We aren’t able to support them all on our own but maybe with some help we could be able to take care of much more animals that need love.
