Helping a victim of Domestic Violence

Recently I was contacted by an individual who wishes to remain nameless. She is a mother of three small children and left her husband of eight years because he was abusing her. She is suffering from lupus as well as another mental illness, she has a son that aslo suffers from a mental illness. When she left her husband for abusing her he would not give her anything that she owned in fact he gave the children broken toys and left them with nothing. This mother is having a very hard time getting back on her feet and getting housing and clothing for her children. I am asking that for anyone who knows or even has been a victim of domestic violence to take this story and read it share it and lets help this woman and her family please. I can relate to what she is going thru as I have been in a similar situation at a point in my life as well.
