Helping a friend in need

Hello everyone, I am Siya.

I entered a competition to win a pair of tickets to a musical festival. Luckily I won the tickets. I gave one ticket to my best friend. We've been trying to save money for transportation and for accommodation. A few days ago my friend forfeited the tickets because her family is facing a financial crisis. Even though her family has been insisting her to attend the festival she felt it would be best if she not attend because of the funds needed. I've been secretly trying to raise funds for both of us to attend but I haven't been succescul at all. I would really love to share this experience with my best friend. She has been going through a rough patch ever since this year started and I feel that she needs this. I hate to see her heartbroken that she won't be go.
