Helping a Deaf Ear

Introduction

Hi! I'm Hamizan Azmi. I'm currently a university student studying the science of Biology. However, recently a tragic accident occurred to me and I need your help.

Backstory

It was during a thunderstorm and I was trying to study next to an open window. It was a big mistake. My area is known for very loud thunder and lightning hitting close to residential homes. Out of all the sudden a lightning bolt struck very close to my open window and the sound of the loud thunder deafened my ears.

My family rushed me to the hospital the next day, in hopes of reversing the deafness but it was too late. The doctors diagnosed me with moderate-profound sensorineural hearing loss and referred me to a hearing aid provider.

As my family is not well off (my father is a taxi driver) and hearing aids in Malaysia is very expensive, I need you help in building me a better future and help me focus in my classes.

COSTS

The hearing aids that can help aid me with my type of deafness in Malaysia costs around RM 12,000 (€2571) a pair. This cost doest account to the price of the batteries that should cost around RM 60 (€13)one box. I need this hearing aid as soon as possible as my classes will start soon and currently I am using a loaned one that does not suit my needs
