"Every man has a journey, every journey has an end."
Hypertension is a silent and deadly disease that is affecting millions of people in the world today. I witnessed this first hand on 23rd November, 2018 when I lost my uncle Jagjeet at the young age of 38!
His son was suffering from dengue, he was taken to a hospital nearby in Mansa, Punjab, where he had an epileptic seizure. My uncle who loved his kids more than anything in the world, couldn't bear the sight! It was too much for his heart to bear and he had a heart attack followed by a cardiac arrest. The grossly untrained staff at the hospital had no idea what they were doing and sent the family away on a wild goose chase to another hospital in Bhatinda, a town that was 1.5 hours drive away. He wasn't given CPR or any sort of first aid. He wasn't even given a chance! They drove him to the suggested hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Now his wife(Jyoti) and 3 young, intellectual children(Preffy-17, Mansh-12 & Manya-9) are left to fend for themselves, since he was the sole bread earner of the family. Throughout his adult life, my uncle, Jagjeet, has had one purpose; to provide for his family and create a bright future for his children.
His extended family and friends are trying to help emotionally and financially as well as they can. However, we CANNOT do this alone. We need your help to try and accomplish his dreams. Any money raised will be used towards the living costs and the education of these bright, young children. I hope you can find it in your heart, to donate money for this struggling family struck by a sad and horrible tragedy.
Please support me in this good cause.
May he rest in peace.
