Guillain-Barré (gee-YAH-buh-RAY) syndrome is a rare disorder wherein the body's immune system attacks the nerves. Weakness and tingling sensations can quickly spread, and eventually affect the entire body.

Inah has been experiencing the said autoimmune disease since the start of February and had sadly been waking up each day, weaker and having more difficulty moving than yesterday. Different from the usual Inah who is very jolly & outgoing.

It’s painful to see her with this disease, struggling to move her arms, hands, legs & feet. Inah's condition already isn't easy and the IVIG treatment comes with a hefty price. Inah immediately needs 5-6 vials of the intravenous immunoglobin (IVIG) each for 5 days. The whole treatment, itself, would cost around Php 800,000.00 apart from the hospital bills.
