Help Hope enjoy her childhood

The Story

It was in 2009 when crisis hit Kyrgyzstan, and financial problems started hitting Hope's family. First, they lost their business (local bakery), then had to sell their car to cover their debts from the government and banks. Hope was born during the family's hard times, and as if the financial problems were not enough, Hope was born with a vitamin D deficiency. Sometimes, Hope's mother would have only bread and tea for breakfast, lunch and supper, so she did not get enough vitamins during pregnancy. This affected Hope's health. Hope was very weak, and did not develop muscles and bones for 1 year. After a number of treatments and procedures, she is feeling much better now.

The Goal

Hope is responding to the treatments positively, and doctors recommend her to continue the treatment for another year. Hope gets treatments once every six months, and her next treatment is in the beginning of March, 2016. So far, her family has spent a lot of money, and relatives and friends have been a big help as well. Right now, the family is collecting donations and pledges for her next treatment, and whatever donation you can give, big or small, towards Hope's treatment will mean a lot for the family. The goal is collecting $900-950 for the next treatment. The family will spend this amount as the followings: $400 for treatment procedures (12 days of treatment in India in March, 2016); $100 for vitamins for Hope to continue taking them, and $400 for travel expenses to India. Any amount of donation means a lot for the family! Know that your contribution will help Hope to overcome her health problems, and enjoy her childhood just like other kids.
