Help Heal Baby Arya’s Heart

Hope you find time reading my long message, we just need your prayers and help.

My baby Arya was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) a 4 different kinds of heart disease.

(VSD) - A hole between the two bottom chambers, the ventricles, of the heart that permits oxygen-poor blood from the right ventricle to mix with oxygen-rich blood from the left ventricle.

Pulmonary stenosis - Narrowing of the outlet to the pulmonary artery area with an abnormal pulmonary valve impeding blood flow from the right ventricle to the lungs.

(RVH) - Thickening and enlargement of the muscles of the right ventricle.

Overriding aorta - A case in which the aorta overrides or straddles the wall (the septum) between the ventricles, permitting oxygen-poor blood to flow through the VSD into the aorta.

The Pedia Cardio advised us to undergo 2 surgeries, one is called "shunting" surgery which will enable the oxygen to flow to her body smoothly and the second one is the "correction of the heart" surgery which she will undergo as she turns 1 year old. The doctors want us to prepare Php 200,000+ for the "shunting" surgery and another Php 600,000+ for the correction of the heart surgery, which we don't know where to get.

We don't want our baby Arya to undergo such surgeries because she's merely a newborn to experience this. Yes, we are a great pretenders, for those who know us, our family, friends and colleagues, we may look okay but we are just trying to be okay for our baby, though our hearts are broken. And as new parents, it's really hard for us to face each day with a smile but our baby Arya is strong, she's a fighter so we need to be more like her.

May we ask a little time for your prayers and any amount you can offer will highly be appreciated. Help us give my baby a chance to live and be a normal kid. We believe that all things happen for a reason, we may not fully understand it now but He entrusted this baby to us so she will be taking care of, that the Lord will not leave us in this battle as we are walking with Him.
