A fight for my INDEPENDENCE

I find myself in need of some financial assistant to help me be able to work from my home and keep my independence.

For over the past 40 years I have been truly blessed to have been a Private Duty Home Health Care Provider that allow me to help many of my clients to keep their independence and stay at home.

Now, my reality is I was only able to work nine weeks of 2018 due to a very serious bone and staff infection, I had to have 3 surgery, I lost 40% of the bottom of my foot, spent 9 weeks in isolation and will have to have more surgery and a lot of therapy over the next 9 months. I am currently non-weight bearing and in a wheelchair. At this point, I don’t know if or when I will ever be able to bear weight on my foot, stand or walk any real length of time, so it is not very likely I will be able to return to work anytime soon.

I have never had an over-abundance of anything, but all my life I have been a tither and a cheerful giver, opening my home to whole family or an individual that needed a place to stay, provided rides when needed, sharing my family’s food and household money with those that were really in need.

The funds generated by this request will be allow me to set-up a home office area within my apartment (with a computer, printer, headset, a landline phone services and software) needed for me to be able to work from home as an independent call center agent, get my car fix so I will be able to drive myself to my doctor and physical therapy appointments, anything left it will be used towards my mounting medical bills.

My family has been a true blessing to me, with their support, finances and caring for me, but they have their own life’s.

Please help me to be able to work from my home and keep my independence.

I am making this request because I was recently reminded that I have not because I ask not.
