📍 Help fund Dan’s health studies in Burkina Faso!

📢HELP FUND DAN is a fundraiser for my dear friend and colleague Dan Kientega from Burkina Faso, whose master studies in public health at the renowned Joseph Ki-Zerbo University would enormously benefit from our collective financial support.

Dan is a dedicated advocate and activist for oral health and as such, has run many outreach programs across Burkina Faso and neighbouring nations that have tremendously improved the awareness and prevention of oral health issues in many local communities. He has carried out his work with high regard for quality and accountability, working closely also with children and mentally disabled individuals.

My appreciation for his highly-committed work ethic first sparked first five years ago when both of us were active members at IADS, the world's largest dental student association. Since then, we've remained in close contact both personally and professionally, jointly planning several oral health projects within the country and beyond.

Having graduated with honors as a dentist, Dan is striving to further complement his education in the field of public health, a significant boost for his long-term career as a locally & internationally trusted champion for oral health promotion in Africa.

Burkina Faso is a low-income country, and while it desperately needs a young generation of trained health experts to improve its health system, it unfortunately has little to support the academic pursuit of such young people.

Thus, my request to everyone reading: with such a driven mindset and a proven track record behind him, let's help Dan fund the last mile of his academic uptaking towards his selfless and challenging future career.
