HELP ME to SURVIVE, please
I am a sole proprietor of an IT-related business in Japan. To be honest, I am in such dire straits that it is difficult for me to buy food on a daily basis. There are several reasons for this.
Simple explanations for the reasons.
First of all, I am a level 2 mentally disabled person with depression and panic disorder. The depression is not a problem with medication, but if there are more than five strangers in the room, I will have a panic attack. For this reason, my doctor has limited me to full remote work, up to 4 hours a day.
To make matters worse, my father passed away suddenly in December 2019. My mother is too old to do legal procedures and my brother works so hard that he leaves the home at 7 am and comes back at 2 am. Therefore, I was the only one who could proceed with the necessary death procedures. It took about a month to complete all the procedures, and since I could not work during that time, my former clients had already found other partners.
Furthermore, my family inherited more than USD 95,000 in debts from my father.
My own business went into the red in 2006, and the only work I could do was IT development and system design. In order to continue that work, I needed to replace old and outdated computers, learn new programming languages, and finally, I had to borrow money from business loans.
And the current COVID-19 pandemic has increased the number of freelance engineers. They were taking orders for less than half of the fair rate, so when I offered clients fair prices, they said it was too expensive, and I'm losing money on my work.
How I am now?
Now I am preparing to file for bankruptcy for my own debts and my portion of the debts I inherited from my father.
I have already notified the lender through my lawyer, so I don't have to pay them now, but I need money for a room fee, utilities, food, etc. I am receiving public assistance from Sapporo City, but my disability pension comes in at USD 2,280 (approx. JPY 240,000) every two months, so the monthly amount is USD 1,100 (approx. JPY 120,000) and the monthly amount of public assistance is USD 94.75 (approx. JPY 10,000).
It is impossible to live on USD1231 (approx. JPY130,000) a month considering the cost of living.
In Japan, the Internet and smartphones are considered "luxury items" under welfare. However, both are already part of the social infrastructure. They are also essential for my work, but since they are not allowed by the welfare system, my monthly expenses are more than the income I receive from my pension and welfare, so I have to reduce my meals to once a day to survive.
In the midst of this situation, my 2017 model iMac is getting old and unresponsive and turns itself off several times a day. Furthermore, the network drive that I used to back up my data has failed. To make matters worse, my iPhone Xs Max is also from 2018's screen repeatedly goes black while I am using it, making it unusable.
Both of them need to be replaced as soon as possible, but I can't replace them by myself because even my life is in danger. In addition, I need to improve my eating habits by eating only one meal a day, or I will become malnourished.

Please support me so that I can at least "lead a social life".
As I am a member of the Open Door Chapel, I would like to end with a quote from this verse.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that knocketh it shall be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8 (KJV)
