Emergency Home Medical Backup Power Solution

My husband is a handicapped veteran who is on oxygen every night and has to have it

along with his bipap for his sleep apnea. The Drs at the Veterans Hospital where they

treat my husband say that he stops breathing at leasts 25 to 40 times a night and that

it's imperative he wears his bipap and oxygen anytime he lays down.

This brings up the the reason for the request of donations. I would like to put in a emergency

power backup system. There is just no way we can afford the cost of the generator, cabling,

and the licensed electrician to instal this.

When power goes out, which it does here in rural West Virginia, I'll be able to switch

over to at my panel box to generator power. The VA will not help in this area.

I've received three estimates from licensed electricians that ranged from $1200 that included

a pull start generator to $1500 to include a electric start plus paid for the inspection.

My husband is 70 and I really would love him for a few more. We have been married for

40 years.

We live on Social Security until they figure out how to take that away from us.
