Raising money for finger surgery

On October 13, in Tbilisi, I had a bicycle accident. I was driving slowly through traffic jam in the second lane, when suddenly the taxi door opened in front of me. I don’t know whose initiative it was, or the driver decided to drop the passenger off in the middle of the road, or the passenger was impatient to get out of the car as soon as possible. But in fact, the door that opened with a sharp part hit my little finger and completely cut off the extreme phalanx of the finger. The driver left and was not found.

Being left without a finger was my worst dream, and now it has become my reality. I was very lucky that my friends were nearby and they called an ambulance. My finger was saved. Operation cost 2000 €.

During the operation, they inserted a pin with which I walked for two months, but, unfortunately, the bone did not grow together, because it was severely crushed. And also during the time while I was walking with a pin, the joint of the finger through which this pin was inserted stopped working. Along with this, the ligaments are probably damaged.

I found a doctor in Vienna who offered to graft the missing part of the toe from the hip bone and restore the function of the joint. The price is inhumane for me - 8000 €.

I really hope that this is my chance to return the finger to working condition. Without your help, this will not possible.
