Help Cujo Fight FIP!

MEET CUJO

Our gorgeous and affectionate boy is only 5 years old but he’s fighting a terminal disease for which there is no cure.He has the dry form of Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a feline viral disease.If you’d like to read more about this disease, please click here

This has pulled the carpet right out from under his human family BUT we are not going down without fighting the best fight we can. We don’t have children and so Cujo is a very precious fur-boy to us.

I have researched this disease extensively. With the support of his vet and Project Fight FIP in South Africa, we have put him on a medication, PI, which has the potential to provide him with a better quality of life and possibly extend that life.

Polyprenyl Immunostimulant (PI) is an experimental drug which can potentially help the dry form go into remission, but it is unfortunately very expensive which makes it unaffordable for us on our own. On top of this, there are vet visits, tests to check how he’s doing and other medicines we’re giving him for issues he’s developed relating to the FIP, e.g. chronic iron deficiency anemia.
