Campaign Story
Zagreb, one of the most beautiful cities of Europe has just been hit hard. During this already uncertain times when corona virus is already testing our unity and faith the people of Croatia have been dealt another treacherous blow. The biggest earthquake to hit the city in 150 years has caused panic a widespread damage. Many buildings in the capital cracked and walls and rooftops are badly damaged. Downtown streets are littered with debris. Concrete slabs fell on cars and chimneys landed in front of entrances. Zagreb’s cathedral was also damaged, with the top of one of its two spires collapsing. The structure was rebuilt after it toppled in the 1880 earthquake. Power was cut and several fires were reported. What makes this grave situation worse is that the earthquake struck amid a partial lockdown of the capital because of the spread of the corona virus. So, people of the world, let's unite and embrace the people of Croatia and stretch out a helping hand to them. Let's face these hard times as a global family together.
