Drew Charlie Angeles was born on September 16, 2019. Right after she was born, she was diagnosed with pneumonia and was immediately endorsed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital in San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines. Baby Charlie's lungs were suctioned and she was put on ventilator support. On top of that, she was also given strong antibiotics.

After more than a month of struggle, our Baby Charlie has finally been discharged but left us with a very huge debt for her hospital bills that amounted to Php. 70,000 plus (which we are still trying to pay off til this present day). Nevertheless, we are still thankful that she was brought home.

Our little angel does not know how to take milk from her mother's breasts or in any other way but through NGT. The struggle continues as Baby Charlie feeds through an NGT everyday in order to recover from the weight she lost. Little by little, and thankfully, she was gaining more weight.

On her second month, we also had Baby Charlie checked by a neurologist and she was diagnosed with Microcephaly, Cerebral Palsy: Spastic QUADRIPLEGIA, Seizure Disorder. The causes were indefinite but our hearts were really broken by this sad news. She is a special case, yet she is a beautiful baby girl.

Unfortunately, just this new year 2020, Charlie was once again hospitalized due to pneumonia and is currently being taken care of at the ICU. The date of her discharge is still unsure as the doctors aren't seeing any progress.

We are knocking on your kind hearts to help us with our financial situation. The donations we will receive will definitely help us recover from and pay for baby Charlie's hospital bills and support her with other medical needs.
