2013 when she first heard about her devastating condition, it was a stage 2 breast cancer. Despite the fear she felt, she stood up and fight positively from it. She took whatever she can to make her immune system strong. She made herself aware of the things she can do to stop the spread of the cancer cells.

She still managed to go to the office - she is a government employee from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR). She still does the usual stuff a mother does to her child, do her part as a wife to her loving husband, as if everything is normal.

Despite her situation, she never turn her back to anyone who needed her help, including us. She is my sister in law and she has been very generous in every little way she can.

But October 2018, her other sister, our Ate Darling fought the same battle. It was too late when she found out, cancer cells took over her lungs, bones, brain and finally, said goodbye to us. So our Ate Gina flew to Manila from her province to see her younger sister for the last time.

That is when the unexpected happened. Her body suddenly became weak. Weak that she can't get up anymore, her feet and legs started to numb. We brought her to the hospital and there we found that the cancer cells are actively working in her body. Doctor's first impression was stage 4 and it affected her liver and spinal cord so she can hardly move. She needs treatments, radiation and chemotherapy. The fact that this disease tries to steal everything from her is frustrating, but more so, the fact that we do not have enough fund to sustain her medications and treatments creeps in and we feel helpless.

Just a few days ago, we lost someone we dearly loved because of the same condition. We still do not know how to move on and here we are facing the same battle again. We are asking for all your help. Our Ate Gina is fighting, her faith is overflowing, her hopes are high that she will overcome this. She knows that she is more than a conqueror and we know she deserves to receive her healing.

We humbly ask for any help you can give. She is currently admitted to National Kidney Institute (NKTI) for the radio therapy, after the 10 sessions complete the doctors will decide if she will proceed with the chemotherapy.

Our family would like to THANK YOU in advance, and we pray that God will return the favor a thousand fold to you and the rest of your family.
