Good Day To All. I hope everyone is doing well.
My sister (Angela, 26) was diagnosed with brain mass/tumor last May 20, 2019. It was heartbreaking and we never seen it coming.
(Perpetual Succour after CT Scan)
She was admitted first in Perpetual Succor Hospital, a private institution, but our family later decided to transfer her to Vicente Sotto Hospital (public) to avail and ask for help from the government because we can't afford the medical bills and surgery/operation.
(stayed for weeks at the Vicente Sotto ER because all rooms were occupied)
We were lucky enough to get a room (ward) after a few weeks of waiting in the emergency room.
Every day she experiences severe headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness. She's unable to move and sleep properly for months now. She had seizure and even went out for more than several hours. Every day is a struggle for our younger sister.
(she experiences and complains about unbearable pain, pain, pain...)
Along with us is her boyfriend (Robert) who sacrificed his job to look after her while we also look into other options in helping her get the treatment that she needs. We're entirely grateful for his love, patience, and dedication to help our sister.
It's been months now that my sister is staying at the hospital. The doctor (Dr. Marty Limbaga) who is assigned to do the operation is not always available due to some emergency or day-to-day operation that he has to prioritize.
My sister (Angela) suffers a lot and I can't imagine how much pain she is feeling whenever we see her.
(before operation...she has to wear diapers now)
Update: July 2, 2019, she finally had an initial operation/procedure or biopsy. She was able to wake up and is healing.
We had help from relatives, friends, and family. Right now, we are very much short in funds for our sister's needs and succeeding treatment/operation. We need every single help, donations, and prayers.
(laughing is, and will always be, the best form of therapy)
**Her next operation may happen in a few days/weeks (2nd or 3rd week of July) and we only hope for the best to come.
P.S. I'm sorry about the grammar error, not good in English language.
