Medical Treatment/Funds for Angela Ferraren’s Brain Tumor/Mass Surgery

Around 7~8AM MNL, she underwent major operation, removing the said mass which was/is located on the back of her head. It took several hours to remove "some of the mass" because the blood on it was flowing or bleeding a lot. So I don't know how much was removed but it was a very, very delicate operation. But, I could say it was a successful removal of some of the mass, but I really don't have all the details.

After the operation, she stayed at the Neuroscience CriticalCare Unit or NCCU room. The doctors checked on her every hour and she's able to respond to flash lights. But, she's unable to speak or move. So, it was like, she is on a state of unconscious.

After few hours, she needed a bag valve mask for her to receive oxygen because there wasn't an available support for her yet. So my brother (Michael) and his boyfriend (Robert) was there to do the job of pumping the bag. It was really hard and painful for us, especially to my brother and Robert who saw her tears rolling down her cheeks while they continue giving her oxygen.

Around 6PM, there was some problem. She's not really responsive or in coma. She was rushed to Cebu Doctors Hospital to do an MRI or CT scan to check where the problem is, because I think there were blood/water clot on her head.

Around 8PM/9PM. She was rushed back to VSMC. They had to do another major operation to insert some tube to remove those blood.

The operation took hours and now she's back at the NCCU room.

SO...After a week of not able to see her, I finally saw her, and..and I couldn't help but cry. I'm not the emotional kind of a person but I cried seeing her tears and unconscious/unresponsive on a ventilator.

TBH, I don't really know what I'm doing here on this page. I guess if you're still reading up to this point, I don't know what exactly the doctors told us...all I can say is our sister is fighting to survive. I am positive that she will be okay.

And we all ask is your prayer, prayer for her to be back and heal fast. Thank you.
