Help Zahraa get to Nationals

Skating is my Schooling!

My name is Zahraa and I am a 12 year old Western Province Novice Figure skater who initially became interested in skating as an extramural activity. This sport turned out to be my prime education. It has taken me on a journey of self-discovery and continuous learning & development.

Big lesson learned this year... effort comes at a cost and no sport is without injury. I have a support team that include my coaches, my biokineticist who is working with me to rehabilitate my injuries and to maintain strength and conditioning, and very recently, a physiotherapist was added to continue the treatment of my current hamstring strain.

This season has been a roller-coaster ride. Within the space of 6 months, I have participated in a Figure Skating Gala, competed in a Province Championship, competed in two Inter-provincial Competitions, (the most recent one, hosted in Gauteng South Africa and have achieved a qualifying score to skate at the SA National Competition.... again in Gauteng... on 13th and 14th March 2023. This has been a physical and financial strain.

Please help me get there! I need support to fund this venture and with your help I can move one step closer to achieving my goal of improving my personal best scores and to get an opportunity to skate at international competitions.
