Campaign Story
Hello!
We are young scientist from Samara. It is one of former industrial centers of Russia. Now we are working on our CanSat project. CanSat (Can Satellite) - is a small device that carries a science mission.
Our aim is to develop a new way of positioning in space. So we collect data from 10DOF sensor, than we process values and build a flight trajectory. At the end we compare our resuts with GPS-data.
Our team "Solaris" during winter thesis defense at Korolyov, Russia |
To test our ideas we designed a CanSat device. It has all sensors and controllers for proper work.It will be launched at Taldom (little space polygon near Dubna, Russia) by a big meteo-rocket to the height of ~2km. But before that we have to construct receiving station for our data, so to get them online, and also we have to perform some tests, that require consumables. To be more exact, we need Arduino Uno, a few meters of copper wire and slats for an antenna. Also we need batteries and accumulators, which are quite expensive, various resistors, transistors, tubes and stuff for soldering.
One of our spring test of "Recovery system":
Unfortunately, our personal savings have run out. That's why we ask you to help us!
