Campaign Story
I have lived in Philippines for some time and as an American it saddens me when I see children becoming adults and working instead of going to school. In the country side it is awful in the conditions they taught. Parents are maid to choose which one of their children will attend school because they could only afford the uniforms and supplies for one child.
My goal is to start small and see how many children we can help. At least with the basics to attend school. I have been supplying the basics to a few children already. So, I need your help to spread the generosity. To show them that they are special and need to educate themselves for a better future.
The Philippines estimated 6.2 million school aged children are not in school.
1% of the population an estimated 1.8 million children are abandoned.
Different factors affect their schooling: disasters, lack of teachers, books, school supplies and facilities (even chairs and tables), poor nutrition and poverty, among others.

In the video clip it is a true story of Judy Ann, 10 years old and John Lloyd, 7 years old. Judy Ann no longer goes to school but instead sells root crops. She notices the wound on her brother’s elbows. She finds out that there are limited chairs in her brother’s school. He has to slouch on the floor when taking down notes thus getting bruises. This is only one of the many struggles s child goes through to survive in the provenances in the Philippines.
