But life can change in a heartbeat. Life can end in one as well. The next moment the light you carried has faded, the sweet ring of your laugh is unheard and Pain has settled in your home, in your room, in everyone's hearts.

Yoanna's life changed in a heartbeat. One day she was a beautiful 16-year-old flower of a girl. Happy, generous, kind, her soul tangled with love for her country Bulgaria and love for all her family. Love for me, her cousin that never spend enough time hearing her bell-like laugh and now after Yoanna's life has changed, afraid I may not get the chance to hear that laugh again.

Yoanna's condition was caught on time and she needs immediate treatment in a specialized hospital in Turkey. Her family cannot afford the treatment and they cannot afford to lose their beautiful girl.
