Help Yawe attend algore climate reality training 2014

Am Yawe Samuel from Uganda, a climate change activist, a physical planner, climate leader, community organizer, youth environmental change leader, i advocate for environmental justice and sustainable development and i stand and speak for climate justice. I volunteer as the international networking specialist for 350.org Uganda, a voluntary organization engaged in the fight against climate crisis in the country. Also, a member of the youth leading environmental change Uganda, a multi-national youth group dedicated to fight climate change through research and youth trainings. Am also engaged in carrying out community outreach projects teaching and training local people on how to fight climate change, how they can live sustainably as well as introducing them to energy conserving technologies such as teaching them how they can construct energy conserving stoves to replace the three stone fire stoves. This saves on the number of trees that would have been cut down for fire wood. During the training, the climate reality project will provide breakfast, lunch, light snacks and all training materials. However, all participants are responsible for funding their way to the training. On this note am appealing to all well-wishers, climate change organizations and whoever who feels i should go and attend the training. So any form of donation will be appreciated. The funds raised will be used to meet costs for airfares, lodging and visa fees.(for travel to Australia, the climate reality project provide participants with an official letter of invitation to help them apply for visa). I want to change our communities and the world at large as i play my part to stop global climate change. Thus, after the training i will be more energized, a skilled communicator with knowledge and tools to take up the lead drive to educate diverse communities on how the cost of carbon pollution and what can be done to solve the climate crisis. I will also be able to perform “Acts of leadership” which will include speaking on events for example in schools. Also writing a blog, writing letters to editors, organizing film screenings, organizing climate change-related campaigns, meeting with government leaders and organizing days of action among others.
