HELP Yaqeen Seconds reach IRELAND (Rugby Tour) in September 2019

Yaqeen’s passion for rugby started at a very young age. His journey started in 2014 at Primrose Rugby Club. Since then Yaqeen gave it his all on the rugby field. Rugby practice 2–3 times per week and up early on Saturday mornings to face the challenges on the field, this is what kept him going!

This journey has taken him through great times and sad times (wins and losses) but Yaqeen kept on persevering. Being selected for Provincial trials was a huge challenge for him. He got knocked out in the semi-finals with the hope of another opportunity in the future. Overall a remarkable journey of playing hard, teamwork, respect and sportsmanship.

2018 was a wonderful year for Yaqeen. His hard work and perseverance paid off! He was Captain for his team and achieved Under 14 Player of the Year award! What an amazing experience and achievement.
March 2019, at the Southern Cape Sports Tournament held in George, Yaqeen (as Vice-Captain Under 15) and his team walked away victorious in all 3 matches against great competitors. What an experience for the boys…they were amazing!

Imagine our surprise and excitement when they announced Yaqeen were selected to participate in the tour to Ireland on 21st to 30th September 2019!!!
What an OPPORTUNITY!!! HE HAS WORKED SO HARD FOR THIS!! This feeling of elation came plummeting when reality kicked in.

We have a few months in which to raise the funds. Funds raised will go towards flights, accommodation, meals, land transfers, sightseeing, matches and playing kit.
