Help Yang Project

I want to take this opportunity to introduce Steve.  He recently relocated from Texas back to Southern California after learning his father had lung cancer and will be undergoing extensive surgery to remove his left lung.  Steve left everything behind, with the exception of a few belongings, when he made his way back home to care full time for his ailing father.  Steve’s father survived lung cancer a few months after his return. With the constant care of his father as a full time job, it was impossible for Steve to seek work that will accommodate his responsibilities at home. His family was forced to live on a small disability income that barely covered their basic monthly needs. They lived strictly on basics from month to month removing any unnecessary materialistic elements.

A month into his 1 year anniversary of surviving lung cancer, Steve’s dad was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer.  The news were devastating to the family as the outlook suddenly looked grim. Steve’s dad is nearing the final days of his life and is being closely cared for as each day passes. Steve has taken hands-on care for his father as his father slowly slips away into immobility.

I have put together this fundraiser to help Steve and his family with medical bills, living expenses, and (I'd hate to say it) funeral preparations.

Steve is a veteran of the United States Army.  He spent several years defending his country and fighting for our freedom.  He is that guy that will pull over to help you change your tire at 2 am; he is that guy that offers assistance when the load seems too heavy for one man. He is the most unselfish man you can come across and now he needs help to carry his family financially through tough times ahead. I appreciate all donations and welcome prayers and warm wishes for this family.
