First of all, I really appreciate everyone who is supporting me.

I can't thank you all enough.

Today, I had a chance to talk Sydney's doctor.

According to the doctor, Sydney needs to stay the hospital until the end of February.

To be honest, I was expecting earlier .( Another One month ...)

But I also respect the doctor's explanation that They want to be sure Sydney will be fully recovered and never come back to the hospital again.

Because there is still %, Postpartum Psychosis might happened again for 10~14% according to the scientific articles.

Bright side is that the doctor allows Sydney to use Hospital public phone and call me and talk.

And Syd called me (just now during typing this update!!!)

Sydney sounds so drowsy (I guess due to Medication).

But She remember me and our baby Layla, and she remembers some events (my sister's wedding which was done last Saturday).

Today I was supposed to go to Syd's hospital and bring some chocolate and strawberry and letters (Syd is loved from many people !) and Telephone Card (prepaid card to use public phone, I'm so glad She could figure out to buy Telephone card and call me).

But I couldn't go because my mother got arrhythmia since early morning and my father had to take her to the hospital for quick check up. (I have to take care of my baby Layla)

It is still tough road in front of me but I just have to get through it.

これは試練か何かと思い、とにかく完遂させることに集中しとります。(母親の件と言い、悪い事は続く時は続くもんですね…)

可愛い我が子と愛する妻のために!(野暮ったい表現で恐縮ですが笑)

I got a call back from the doctor who is in charge of Sydney this evening.

And according to the doctor, Syd is 70% herself as of today's evening very latest status.

Until yesterday, the doctor was observing Syd was 20% herself and still "away" in 80%. But The doctor observed Sydney got herself dramatically today.

And I could tell the doctor didn't want me to expect/optimistic too much but I'm soooooo relieved to hear this news.

Sydney even could start reading letters from today (she didn't care about letters until yesterday, or no interested in).

I was upset when the doctor told me that generally this much Postpartum Psychosis takes approximately 3 month to get completely recovered, but the doctor will tell me how long Syd needs to stay the rest next Monday after a few days additional observation . (I have a good feeling about it)

Thank you, Everyone for praying for us.

I believe that made it change.

First week passed by so fast.

I'm distracting myself for all documentation stuffs for both Sydney and our new baby Layla.

And I visited Layla for Training for taking her bath and making milk and feeding her. How to massage her hands and feet.

I can learn how to take care Layla,so when Sydney came back I can teach her.

Now I can not see Sydney because of current COVID situation.

I'm bringing some stuffs Sydney might need and what Syd likes. (I think Syd likes strawberry....)

I can get info from only her Psychiatry doctor by phone.

According to her doctor, Sydney is still "away". Meaning, singing and whispering some phrases again and again.

Good thing was Sydney asked the doctor " where is Layla? Can I see her ?". Then the doctor told Sydney " you can see baby later. And Baby is fine ". Sydney was repeating" Baby is fine, baby is fine" so Sydney is thinking about her own baby.

It's good .
