Help with our dad’s hospital expenses

Hello everyone, my family and I are humbly asking for donations for our dad's hospital expenses.

Our dad had an accident last Christmas: he fell off of a ladder as he was climbing an avocado tree, resulting in a spinal cord injury. He immediately became paralyzed from the waist down, bedridden, and has been in the hospital since then. It was very bad timing that it was the holidays, as hospitals were undermanned and businesses (including those that offer diagnostic imaging/laboratory services) had limited operational hours. As such, it took a long time before an official diagnosis can be issued, and in that time, he had developed a severe case of non-covid pneumonia.

Last January 15, he was transferred to the Intensive Critical Care Unit at UERMMC and was intubated shortly after. Thankfully, after two weeks in the ICCU and blood transfusions, his vitals have stabilized enough for him to be transferred to a regular room, though still with a ventilator. Once his condition stabilizes further, he will need to undergo a spine surgery (anterior compression and spinal fusion) to address the fractured vertebrae and blood clot that had formed in his spine, which is estimated at 500,000 PHP.

Our entire family just overcame COVID-19 last November, where both of our parents and one sister had to be hospitalized for at least 10 days each; this has drained almost all our savings. As such, we implore you to help us in financing our father's hospital expenses. As of February 2, his hospital bill is at 1.7 million PHP (~35388 USD). There is still the surgery to go, the post-surgery recovery, and the physical therapy/rehabilitation afterwards. We have already deposited most of the donations received from family, friends, and other kind-hearted donors.
