Anita Vásquez Llerena, Peruvian, born on May 3, 1945, 78 years old, DNI 00045586, lives in the city of Pucallpa, in eastern Peru. My mother currently has lung or breast cancer. The doctos still haven't found the root where it all began, so her treatment is out of focus.

For 5 months we live in Lima, the capital of Peru, I had to quit my job to take care of her throughout the treatment.

A kind-hearted family has supported us, but treatment is becoming a bit more demanding and my financial resources are running out very quickly. And we have to find another place to move and ensure that the rent is not very expensive. My mother has already received four rounds of chemotherapy and will begin radiation therapy in October 2023.

She doesn't have health insurance, so the medicines and vitamins she needs have to be bought by us. Not counting food expenses

That means taking her to the Neoplasia Institute every day, we don't have a car, and my mom can't get on the bus to save on fares. I transport her in a wheelchair that they lent me, and I transport her with Uber, Didi or Indrive. In my city, some friends organized a campaign to collect donations. But they weren't enough. That is why I write these lines and ask for your support.
