Campaign Story
I am a 39 year old mom living in Cape Town. I work in the digital publishing industry. Both my kidneys failed in 2009. I received a transplant from my sister in 2011. In 2014, my transplanted kidney failed. I have been on hemodialysis now for almost a year. With hemodialysis I've had a few complications. I've had to have blood transfusions, a fistula operation and my medical aid does not cover some of these costs.
