Help With Ivan’s Tuition

At this stage of life we'd like to reduce the amount of “things” in our lives, and planning Dubi's 70th birthday party for ~80 guests we would kindly ask you not to bring any gifts. Thus, Vesna and I have decided to announce the following:

• Your presence and friendship is all we wish for and nobody is expected to bring any gifts
• If, and ONLY IF you feel inclined to give some gift, please make a donation toward the tuition for our son Ivan through this funding website.

As you may already know, our son Ivan is a mildly autistic child and has been for several years attending special class for autistic children within the public school system. We felt that his strengths were not given enough support and encouragement, and this year we decided to move him to Chisholm Academy in Oakville, a private school that will give him more opportunities to grow and to develop his strengths. This school year is only in its first month, and results are already very encouraging! Of course, this quality comes at a price.

PLEASE NOTE: The fundraising target that you can see was set only because this fundraising application requires it to be set in order to function. Nobody should feel pressed to reach it, or think that we expect it to be reached. The actual Ivan's yearly tuition is way higher, but we see this fundraiser only as a help to pay for his tuition, and not as a way to pay the entire tuition.
