Help with Attorney and Legal fees

I am fundraising to raise money to help with Attorney and legal fees. I have two daughters who will be Junior and Seniors next year. Both girls have goals for Pre Med and Pre Vet, they are straight A hard working students. Unfortunately after divorce, we as mothers struggle to financially make ends meet and be able to fully provide without sacrifices. My ex husband has petitioned for a modification of custody and child support, I am currently the custodial parent. I spoke with an Attorney today who has advised me first this was an unfair move on his part and second for me to sign nothing. To retain an Attorney will cost $1500 to start this process. I am working as a hairstylist and cleaning part time. The financial burden this brings has brought stress and anxiety, I would not wish on my worst enemy
