Help William Get back home to Thomas

William Teaderman is one of the most selfless people l have ever had the privilege of knowing and loving as a dear friend. William has struggled with MS for the past 40 years. Struck with this debilitating disease at the prime of his young life, it has ravaged his body, stole his mobility and rendered him incapable of independence. William’s pain level is a ten on most days, and he spends the majority of his days in excruciating pain stemming from symptoms of this horrific disease. Through all of this! he smiles, he offers help he cannot give, he consoles others, he is so full of love and laughter. he is a joy and bright light to those of us that love him dearly! he lives for the love of his life ‘Thomas’! his 10-year-old autistic son. This in itself carries so many challenges, and a lot of stress and advocating for his child.

Last week we almost lost William!

he has been through hell!

William collapsed and was minutes from death. Thomas SAVED HIS DAD’S LIFE! YES, YOU HEARD ME CORRECTLY! WHILE William STRUGGLED TO BREATHE WITH DANGEROUSLY LOW OXYGEN LEVELS, his AUTISTIC SON WAS ABLE TO TEXT HER MOM TO SAY DAD WAS VERY SICK ENABLING Sheila TO CALL 911. ON ARRIVAL MEDICS TOLD his FAMILY he WAS MINUTES FROM DEATH. IT IS A STORY FOR CHANNEL 4,5 or 7.

William underwent open-heart surgery, crashed while under anaesthesia and was in an induced coma for several days.

Thank God our dear friend is still with us! he is a complete miracle.

William’s recovery is going to be a long, challenging road ahead which health insurance will not fully cover. William will need months of rehab, 24/7 care and extensive renovations to his home, ramps, extended openings, etc. Our common goal is to get William home to Thomas, through love support and hard work. Unfortunately, it also comes with a huge expense.
