I am writing this on behalf of my brother's girlfriend who was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Invasive Ductal Carcinoma metastasized to lung. Her name is Welbie Orge Elesorio. She is 25 years old and has two young kids, a 5-year old boy and a one year old baby girl. Welbie and my brother have been together and living in a small house for more than 3 years now.

She first felt her tumor last November. At that time, it appeared as a small lump in her left breast. Last month she decided to see a doctor to get checked after she noticed that the lump had grown rapidly. After a week, she underwent lumpectomy surgery and the lump in her breast was removed. It was successful although she had to stay in the hospital for a few days for recovery. The biopsy result showed the tumor is malignant, which confirmed the fears of cancer. Fear and sadness kicked in immediately. The doctor told us she needs to undergo mastectomy surgery as soon as possible which can cost more or less 100k pesos.

After doing more tests and scans, it was revealed that the cancer has already spread to her right lung. Based on what I've read online, once the cancer spreads to other parts of the body, there's no more cure for it. Surgery or radiation alone is not enough to treat the symptoms and chemotherapy only slows down the growth of the cancer in the body to live a little bit longer.

My sister heard about immunotherapy and found Dr. Farrah's facebook page. We watched testimonies of her cancer patients who are now cancer-free. There are also lots of people around the world who beat the disease even at stage 4 through immunotherapy. It is very promising and it gives us back our hope that maybe she will also be cured. We talked to Welbie and my brother about it and they agreed to go for it.

They went to Dr. Farrah's Cancer Center in Tarlac, Manila and she's told she needed to be admitted there while she's still feeling good. Admission to the ward room for 20 days costs 120,000 pesos all inclusive. The treatment might take 6 months depending on the improvements.

Her family and ours cannot afford her treatment. Welbie's father died when she was only a teenager while her mother is suffering from asthma. Selling plants and flowers is our only source of income. My brother works very hard everyday just to make ends meet for his family. We are still in debt after doing her surgery. I came here to ask for your help. We need financial support for Welbie's treatment because we can't do this on our own. Right now, she's still doing okay although the cancer has invaded the skin of the breast. I'm hoping to raise money here so she can start her treatment as soon as possible. It's sad to say that for now, this is our only hope. Please help Welbie in any way you can. I know not all of you can help her financially, but please do include her in your prayers. Let's help her win this battle. Thank you so much for reading and please do share this page.
