Help we Grow Better Coffee

Hello world,

Am Geofrey Nkwasibwe from Ntungamo Uganda. Graduated 2013, couldn’t immediately find work in Kampala , in 2014 planted 100 coffee trees piloting my piece of land, maintained them while I was still in town.

When Covid-19 hit Uganda in March 2020 and there was a total lock down, I moved my family of 5 people to the village to concentrate on farming which I enjoy doing. We have planted more 550 coffee trees making it full acre.

All the little savings we had for this project is used up doing this work. Coffee takes 3 years if well catered for to start harvesting. We need financial help for;

1. Weeding = $561

2. Organic fertilizer = $224

3. Mulching = $561

4. Spraying = $84

5. Mini irrigation system = $1963

Total in USD = 3393 up to harvesting time.
