Hello! I'm I Nyoman Wahyu Widiana. I'm balinese. I live in Bali, Denpasar, Indonesia. I'm Master of Economy student, Udayana University. I recently got accepted in the Asia Student Summit 2018 that will be held from July 16-20, 2018, at Seoul, South Korea.
My activities now is still focus studying to get my Master of Economy. I active with social activities, special needs education, Sign Language for deaf people. I learn Indonesian Sign Language (Sistem Bahasa Isyarat Indonesia - SIBI) for helping deaf people. I believe all of them have a good potency same with a normal people.
The Asia Student Summit was started in 2016 with the goal of bringing together youth leaders across Asia to expose them to the culture, economy, and educational system of another Asian country - for this year, South Korea - with the hopes that the knowledge that the youth leaders would gain during the summit would help them make significant changes in their respective countries.
This year, the five-days summit would include campus tours in Kyunghee University and Seoul National University, company visits in KBS On and Samsung D'light, and heritage place visits in Gwanghamun and Gyeongbokgung. Lectures will also be given during the event.
My interest in South Korea's culture, media, history, and politics
has motivated me to apply for this summit, and it is a dream of mine to
be able to visit and learn more about South Korea. I think this is a good apportunity, because we can learn many thing from other country, South Korea specially. The important about this program is relationship friends from different city, religion, language and country to make a Unity in Diversity. I believe with this program we can promote all about our country, specially Bali, Indonesia (culture, tradition, language, music, dance, folksong) to the world.
With all of those being said, I would like to ask for your help for funding for this summit. The funds raised will be used for my registration and flight fees. Your help will be very much appreciated.
Thank you very much!
