Help vulnerable children play

Mo, aged 6, came to east London from a war-torn country, traumatised by all he had seen. He found it very hard to settle in school and risked being excluded for aggressive behaviour. Mo's school referred him to Carefree Kids and after attending therapeutic play sessions, there were fewer aggressive outbursts. Mo began to feel happier, did better at school work and made a friend. The headteacher asked, "What kind of magic fairy dust are you using on these children?! The work you do with them makes such a difference!"

Carefree Kids is a London based children's charity that supports the emotional well being of vulnerable and troubled children by offering them weekly therapeutic play sessions. This is delivered by a team of dedicated volunteers. We welcome volunteers from all walks of life and support them with our own comprehensive training programme in our unique learning and resource centre.
