Help Viktor, 10 Week Old Kitten & Amazing Survivor

Brooklyn Animal Action rescuer Tara recently responded to an email about a three-legged kitten that was seen in

Midwood, Brooklyn. Local Brooklyn Animal Action rescuer, Christie Fazio, set out to rescue the kitten, and

fortunately, she was successful. They named the kitten Viktor, after the man who first saw him, and learned when

they came to his aid that he'd had one of his legs bitten off! (Another of his hind legs also has a bite wound.)

The vet doesn't know how Viktor is still alive after such an injury. Viktor's will to survive is just that strong!

Currently, the wound is infected and there is no skin to close up the open injury.
