Help Vera

Our mother Vera needs Your help. She is ill. The death of her parents, sister and brother caused heavy neurological disease. In April 2009 she began feeling pain in the neck, tension in the muscles of the right shoulder and neck. The pain increases with walking. The head always turns to the side, so she forced to support head by hand. She is hard to walk and work. She always feels increased fatigue, general weakness.

Later doctor diagnosed Focal cervical muscle dystonia in the form of spasmodic torticollis to the right side 2nd degree of severity and Vegetative dystonia.  The disease progressed. After two years appeared blepharospasm and violent movement in the right hand. Doctor diagnosed Segmental muscle dystonia with the presence of plastic torticollis II-III degree, blepharospasm, accentual hyperkinesia in the distal part of right hand.

Vera is a kind, sympathetic woman, caring and loving wife and mother. In life she is very happy, resilient and energetic woman. But the disease overshadows her life, and may lead to disability.

Every day her condition worsens. She sleeps bad, she could not walk properly, always plagued by pain. Mom sees badly. The cheerfulness is gone. Mom became very insular and not smiling. Sometimes she cries in frustration and pain. We worried about it, but we can’t help her. We need your help.

Mom needs surgery. Specialists one of the Israeli clinics have agreed to perform the surgery. The surgery, rehabilitation, medical consultation cost 50,000 dollars. We have no these money.

We ask everyone to provide any assistance. We want to see our mother healthy, fun and cheerful as ever.
