Campaign Story
I am Utpal Pal. I work in Kolkata in a wine shop, earning a meagre salary.
My father is a poor landless labourer. His poor health does not allow him to earn a regular income.
So,I am virtually the only earning member in my family comprising of my parents and younger brother.
Recently, my parents have started urging me to get married, preferably to an earning lady, so that we are able to make both
ends meet. With respect to their wish,I have started looking for a suitable match.
However, my present financial state will not permit me to get married because marriage entails a lot of varied expenses- on clothes, furniture, jewellery, reception etc-
which I shall not be able to meet with my low income .
Therefore, I strongly urge you, with all due respect, to provide me a quantum of financial assistance which will enable me to fulfil my parents wishes and also ensure for them a better life in their old age.
