Help us to keep Clean up project alive

Hello friends,

first of all, thank you very much for your time by reading this.

I was asked by my friend Theo, who is running a wonderful project in Sumatra called Cleanup Sumatra, for a help. This project deals was established early in 2017 and deals with cleaning polluted places in West Sumatra. Plastic and trash pollution has been a huge problem not only in Sumatra but also in Asian countries in general. Clean up Sumatra is not only project that cleans ocean, beaches and other polluted places but they also organize workshops where they educate local people and mainly children about our environment. In the past several months, they have been raising funds for supporting local families who, due to the pandemic, couldn't work. Funds were used for purchasing food which was then distributed to the families in need.

CleanUp project has been so far financed from own resources and sold merchandise products. Unfortunately, Indonesia has had closed borders and doesn't allow any tourists to enter. This affected a lot of people including Theo and his friends from Cleanup Sumatra. They work in tourism industry and therefore they don't get any income and cannot then finance clean up project. This is the reason, why we created this campaign.

Raised money will be used for financing waste processing house which is, for this project, essential. Due payment for this house is until October 10.

Please, contribute and help us to keep this project alive. These nice people in their free time do very meaningful job and care about our environment. It would be very sad if this pandemic also ended their caring activities.
