This may sound very surprising but in Peru firefighters get very little support from the government. Also firefighters in Peru are volunteers working pro bono. Some of their equipment is very outdated but as all other firefighters in the world they still do their job with a lot of courage even knowing that there’s a chance that things might not go their way. Yet, they push through and do it anyway.
That being said, I am creating this campaign to help them collect some money to fix the only ambulance available for my home town in Peru. The ambulance broke down one week ago and they have not been able to send it to the garage due to lack of money. Right now they are relaying on the next town's ambulance but their respond time can be as high as 25 min. They need $1,500 US dollars about S/. 5,000 soles to fix the ambulance.
