Hello everyone!

We are small, but enthusiastic team from Croatia, which consists of three members - Martina, Damir and Marina. Before our paths met, everyone of us thought how he wants to live and work... to create what we love and want in nature and in harmony with nature, other people, animals and plants.

We had this desire to gather other people who have similar ideas and thoughts and we found each other. Martina and Marina met at the Faculty of Social Work and realized they have similar interests related to the way of life, they don´t want to live in an imposed forms of society and can not see themselves in future working in the institutions. Soon they met Damir, president of the Association "Light of Life", which since 2007 was carried out activities of assisting about 1 100 sick and poor children and orphans, 1 200 adults in health and improve of the quality of life and the organization of about 150 workshops in nature (more on http://svjetlozivota.com/category/dosadasnje-aktivnosti/)

Our long-term goal is to build a small eco-village (Magic Forest) in which we would demonstrate and teach people how to:

-build self-sustaining homes of ecological materials (wood, straw, country, rock)

-use alternative energy sources (solar, wind, water)

-rationally and consciously use natural resources

-grow plant foods without pesticides on the principles of permaculture

-enjoy in nature by living in harmony with nature

We want to collect the money so we can build a house for visitors. We would build a house of ecological materials: wood, stone, straw bale, sheep's wool and the soil, with the assistance of volunteers. On the house we would use alternative forms of energy (solar energy, wind energy). To build such a house and for building material and solar system, we need about $ 5,300.
