PLEASE HELP❗

This fundraising was initially created to build a shelter for our camels, but with the recent devastating earthquake, we decided to use the funds to help the surviving victims.

A devastating earthquake struck Morocco yesterday. killing, injuring, or displacing thousands of people. A large number of children have been orphaned.

I lost five family members in the high Atlas Mountains, over 3000 people were killed and 12,000 injured.

According to a teacher, only four students from a class she is teaching survived; the rest perished under the debris of their homes. The earthquake struck the High Atlas Mountains, which get very cold and snowy in the winter and are home to many remote villages. The funds raised will be distributed directly to families in the hardest-hit areas to help them restore their homes or restart their businesses.

The Moroccan regions of El Haouz, Ouarzazate, Chichawa, and Taroudant bear the scars of indigenous marginalization, which the earthquake will exacerbate for years to come.

Your contribution will make a significant difference in helping families heal and regain a sense of normalcy over time. A group of Moroccan scholars in the United States is collaborating with local NGOs and community leaders to ensure that all funds are used to support families in the most direct and effective way possible.

We rely on your generosity and support to help the maximum number of people.
