Campaign Story
Hush English is a registered company based in Cape Town, South Africa which was created in June 2017 with the following two goals:
1. To create job opportunities for the unemployed yet very talented youth of South Africa.
As it stands in the second quarter of 2017, 55.9% of South African youth are currently unemployed and although many of these young adults are well educated with university degrees and higher, the job market in the country is severely low. The goal of Hush English is to have a total staff of 600+ teachers across 3 major cities in Southern Africa by the year 2020. Our staff members will also be working with local communities by offering free tutoring for schools, organizing charitable events to benefit marginal groups and by engaging with civil society.
2. To help provide a much needed online education system for children around the world.
According to the international TEFL Academy there are currently 1.5 billion English learners across the globe and it is a fast growing industry. Many learners are young students as young as 2 years old.
As it stands, Hush English has joined forces with 2 international companies which is willing to provide the company with students on a daily basis. All we needs now is a location for our teachers to be set up in as we already have all the relevant equipment needed. The company needs approximately R30,000.00 for the deposit on the office space.
Please donate to our business and help us get up and running so that we may both educate and employ the youth of the future.
