Help us take our mom home

Hi, my name is Charity. My mom Terry has been bed ridden for the past 17 years. On March 24, 2019, just days before her birthday, she was rushed in the hospital because of difficulty in breathing. She right, then, had been inserted with life support machines and underwent tests to figure out what caused her breathing problems. Days later, we found out her intestines bloated, pushing her lungs and other organs up and not allowing it to expand more when breathing.

Few days later, she underwent tracheostomy procedure to help her breathe under SIMV (machine assisted breathing). Sadly, her bloating intestines were not resolved. Doctors suggested we should have her undergo colostomy so she can release all pressure and waste accumulating inside her large intestines. Although she was in a high risk stage, our family would still want to provide to her the best care and comfort so we decided to proceed with the operation. We are thankful that she surpassed it all.

We can take her home but the expenses won't allow us. We have given almost 800k for the hospital bill out of 1.1M pesos that we need to pay, this is excluding our doctor fees which summed up to almost 300k, all 10doctors, from anes to surgeons. Aside from that, taking our mom home would require us to rent the ventilator (24k a month/800 a day) until she has her breathing normalized. The ventilator needs the oxygen tanks as well. We can provide that, yes. But our major problem is we can not take her home as the hospital would not release our mom without paying a hundred thousand downpayment on the bills and at least half of each of the doctor's fee which will amount to 150k. Our remaining cash will all be exhausted with home machine preparations and mom's daily food and medicine.

We want our mom home because all her complications now are acquired. Due to low resistance, he body gets almost all sickness present in the hospital. If anyone wishes to help, we would be forever grateful for that. We can pay it off if you wish to just let us know. :( We are so drained physically, emotionally and financially as of now.
