Help us sustain our beloved Tatay’s second life.

Our whole family contracted the Covid 19 virus. Out of 11 family members in one household, our father, Orlando Flores, 58 years old was the only one who had a different reaction. He became severe due to his comorbidities (Hypertension, Stroke last 2013, he had previous opeartions due to Prostrate and Kidney Stones).

Even an emergency case, no hospital in Manila and nearby provinces acccepted him for all are in its maximum Covid case bed capacity. This led us to have him Oxygen supported at home for almost 2 days while waiting for our chance to any available hospital. We were blessed that a doctor from our local church was moved to attend to him in one of the private hospitals he is affiliated, Pasig Doctors Medical Center. Even we know that we don't have that much finances to sustain his hospitalization in that private hospital, we have no other options that time. We just had him admitted to give him a good fight for his life.

THE GREAT NEWS IS, HE IS RESPONDING VERY WELL WITH REMDESIVIR TREATMENT. ❤🙏

While relieved on the improvement of Tatay's health condition, settling his hospital bill is the next challenge we have to face. We are now required to cashout for his daily medicines since his running bill is over what the health insurance (HMO) and PhilHealth can cover. His latest bill as of 7th day reached almost P500K without the Professional Fees. No updated bill yet now that he is on his 10th day, thus we expect more charges to settle.

The financial burden is too much to bear for my siblings and myself specially now that all of us are still on quarantine.

We know that some of us, if not all, are experiencing tough times at this season of pandemic. We will be forever grateful for any help you can provide. Everything will be considered as big help in this dire need. All these when added, will contribute to the 2nd life of Tatay Orlan.
